Welcome! This web site is dedicated to Bollschweiler family members around the world and created for their use and benefit.
In the Spring of 2000, the first International Bollschweiler Meeting was held in Weil am Rhein, Germany and the surrounding Black Forest Region. There, family members from all over the world met and explored their heritage at its roots. While in Germany it was realized that the contact between family members should not end with the meeting. It was then decided that the tradition begun in Germany would continue in the years ahead.
In May 2002, the Second International Bollschweiler Family Meeting was held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many family lines of the Bollschweiler family were represented, including some of the European branches. The 2002 meeting was hosted by Bollschweiler family members in Salt Lake City, Utah, home of the largest branch of the Bollschweiler Family in the world. It was a wonderful event and captured the spirit of the first meeting.
The family then returned to Germany for the Third International Meeting, which was held April 28 - May 1, 2006. Activities included returning to family history sites, touring castles and visiting a living history museum. It was a wonderful experience for all those who participated.

We are excited to announce that the future of the Bollschweiler family includes the 4th Bollschweiler reunion, to be held in Wilmington, Delaware USA, July 17th - 20th, 2008. Yet another wonderful opportunity to gather as a family and explore our roots together.
This, along with new information on the family coming to light and the family's growth across the world, it certainly seems to be a bright future indeed.
The spirit of the Bollschweiler family has caught the imaginations of its members, sparking new friendships and remarkable opportunities for family research. Strangers separated by oceans are now in friendly communication, helping each other discover and explore the mysteries of their family. Please enjoy your visit at this site!
